JOSEPH HOMAN,
Who departed this
Life Decr. 3d 1789
Aged 80 year &
7 months
An honest man's the noblest
work of God

[Joseph Homan was born 27 May 1708 in Marblehead,
he was the brother to my 7x Great Grandfather,
Peter Homan (b. 1699)]


ERECTED in memoryof
SARAH HOMAN, wife
of Mr. Joseph Homan
who, after a life adorned
with the profession &
practice of Christianity
suddenly expired April
20th 1783 Aged 73 years
My flesh shall slumber in the ground
the last trumpet's joyful sound
Then burst the chains with sweet surpriz
And in my Savior's image rise.

[Sarah Bray was born about 1710 and
married Joseph Homan in Marblehead on 17 September 1730]

of Mr. JOSEPH & Mrs. SARAH
HOMAN who departed this
life Feby. 28th 1759 in ye
22nd year of his age
