Lunch & Learn: Wearing History- Reproducing Historical Clothing, Thursday, July 5th,12 – 1 PM at Plimoth Plantation, Plymouth, Massachusetts. Plimoth Plantation is delighted to present Wearing History- Reproducing Historical Clothing with Manager of Historical Clothing and Textiles Denise Lebica. Lecture will begin promptly at noon in the Accomack Building. A brief Q& A will follow. Finding Our Roots: Free Introduction to Genealogy Workshop, Tuesday, 10 July 2012, 2PM at the National Archives, 380 Trapelo Road, Waltham, Massachusetts.  The presentation, taught by a member of the Archives’s staff, is intended for novice family historians, and is one of the most popular workshops. After the lecture, the public is invited to utilize the resources of the National Archives, and they will be assisted by the archives staff and volunteers. Free. Discovering Early Charlestown, 25 July 2012, 6 – 7:30PM, at the New England Historic Genealogical Society, 99 – 101 Newbury Street, Boston, Massachusetts.  Historian Roger Thompson will present a survey of the genealogical sources he used in both the USA and the UK to trace individual families and groups who settled in 17th century Charlestown, Massachusetts.  The lecture will be followed with light refreshments.  $10 NEHGS members, $20 Nonmembers.
