Today's weather vane is from somewhere in New Hampshire.

Today's weathervane was photographed above the North Congregational Church in Market Square, Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This is a lyre style weathervane seen so often in New England nineteenth century churches. This style combines the older banner style with an arrow, star, and a tail, more elaborate than eighteenth century weathervanes.
