Christmas 1974 in Holden, Massachusetts

On Christmas Eve Dad played a wise man in the church nativity,
then Santa for the neighbor's grandchildren.
He used the same white beard twice that night!

For several years in a row my sister and I
painted the picture window with a Christmas scene

A very skimpy looking tree.  All the tinsel didn't help.

Opening our Christmas stockings on Christmas morning

My little sister opening gift books.
I love her fuzzy slippers!
