ReplyDeleteFun lookin at those blogs! I write about the Shackford's who are mostly from New England at ShackfordFamilyHistory at www.shackfordfamilyhistory.wordpress.com
ReplyDeleteHi Joanne, Love your blog. My Wilkinsons were from Portsmouth, NH, too. I have found several early (1600s) Shackfords in my family tree including a Jane Shackford who married Alexander Hodgdon, and a William Shackford who married a Deborah Trickey. Are the SHACKLEFORDs related? I have two Shackleford marriages to my 4th great aunt Priscilla Presson in Gloucester, MA in the late 1700s. Probably two brothers or kinsmen?
DeleteThanks for the shout out. I better get blogging again!
