John Taylor was born about 1761 and served in the Revolutionary War from Londonderry. He died 13 December 1825, at age 66.
This stone used to be lying flat on the ground, but it was righted and re-set by the Friends of Forest Hill Cemetery.

"I have John Taylor b. 1759, source: History of Londonderry by Edward L. Parker, page 298 and died 13 Dec. [also] source: George F. Willey, Willey's Book of Nutfield, page 412. I have him as the son of William Taylor and Betsey Grimes. He married Nancy Cunningham and I have 10 children listed for them."
Genealogy:
Generation 1: Matthew Taylor (1698 - 1767) born in Londonderry, Ulster, Northern Ireland, married to Janet Wilson, 11 children.
Generation 2: William Taylor, born 13 March 1732 in Londonderry, New Hampshire, married to Betsey Grimes and had 8 children.
Generation 3: John Taylor, born about 1761, married to Nancy Cunningham and had 10 children.
