Sept. 2, Queen Lili'uokalani's Birthday
On this day, 2 September 1838, Lydia Liliʻu Loloku Walania Wewehi Kamakaʻeha was born to her parents to High Chiefess Analea Keohokalole and High Chief Caesar Kaluaiku Kapa'akea. She was raised by her hanai (adoptive parents in the Hawaiian style) Abner Paki and Laura Konia. Her royal name, upon being named Crown Princess, was Lili'uokalani.
