In this photo we can see Vincent celebrating his first birthday in New York City, where he grew up as a little boy. The cake is bigger than him! And so is that plate of donuts. I can assure you that donuts are still one of his favorites. The only other people I recognize in this photo are his mother and father, right behind him.
You often don't hear from Vincent on this blog, but you can read all about his family in Spain by clicking on the keywords SPAIN, ROJO, GARCIA, etc. or searching for those words or similar phrases with the search bar at the top of the page. Vincent is the photographer for Nutfield Genealogy, the staff technical support, chief editor, and my companion for cemetery walks, genealogy conferences, workshops, classes and other interesting events. He is not only my companion for genealogy, but my companion in love, life and family.
Happy Birthday, Vincent!

Happy birthday to Vincent and many, many more. His sweater looks handmade. Someone in the family was a very good knitter!
ReplyDeleteHis maternal grandmother was terrific with hand arts (lace, knitting, crochet). She made a lot of baby things for my daughter. I'll bet she made this sweater, too!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Vincent! That photograph is priceless!
