The little sign reads: "I used to love my garden but now my love is dead, I found a bachelor's button in Black Eyed Susan's bed." |
Imagine how big this cabbage would be by fall! |
In Alaska the veggies and flowers grow as big as Volkswagon Beatles because the sun only sets for a few hours during the summmer. All those long, warm days make it a gardening curiosity.

Those photos are awesome! And what a fun garden. Alaska is an amazing place. I had the pleasure of speaking up in Anchorage last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. I also learned about all that they grow and handn't before even thought about the daylight hours and how much that would affect things.
