It's the Horribles Parade in Beverly Farms! We lived near Quincy Park when I was little and either watched the fireworks from our house that they shot from Salem Willows or took the boat up to West Beach to see that show. It's a dismal display here in Billings with it so dry out here. I really miss the Fourth in New England. Thanks for sharing that nice photograph.
Yay! For some reason this reminds me of the Memorial Day Parade here in CT when our daughter was in the high school band, playing the flute. She finally got to play the bells . . . her one parade wish. Then on the 4th of July they did a little skit at Town Hall in which she played the "fife" (is that how you spell it?) and a friend played the drums. Celebrating is one of the best things people do.
